Here’s Why You Really Should Read The Fine Print
I'll admit I'm one of those people that never read the fine print about anything. It's partly because I don't want to but it's also partly because my eyes are so bad that I can't. (Probably should get the fixed, I know...) Anyway, this story proves that reading the fine print is something that we all should be doing and not just because it may prevent us from getting cheated out of something but also because we may actually WIN something.
For instance, here's what happened in Georgia. A school teacher was reading through the fine print on a travel insurance policy from SquareMouth. Boring, right? Most likely...until she got to the part that said "If you are reading this within the contest period … and are the first to contact us, you may be awarded the Pays to Read contest Grand Prize of ten thousand dollars.”
Well, can you guess what happened next? Yep. She's $10,000 richer. Click here to read more about it.
