Here We Go Again – Michigan Football Headed to Playoffs Next Year
This just in:
Something called the ESPN's Playoff Predictor says Michigan will make the playoffs for the national college football championship next year. I know - this seems to happen every year. Of course, "The Predictor" (there's a science fiction movie in there someplace) says the favorites are Alabama and Clemson, with Clemson having an 83% chance of reaching the playoffs. (All I hear now when they start talking about Clemson and 'Bam is, "blah, blah, blah")
Michigan has a 41% chance, the third highest - just above Georgia.
At 5%, Michigan State is ranked 13th highest. I don't know how far they'll go, but I think Michigan State WILL have a much better year this year than last. And, as somebody who briefly lived in Alabama and became a 'Bama fan, I'd still like to see somebody outside the SEC and ACC rise up and play in the title game next year. Even Michigan. That's not a slam, I'm serious. Anybody else.
