North of Trout Lake, in the U.P.'s Hiawatha National Forest, firefighters have been battling a wildfire that broke out Wednesday night and burned about 35 acres. According to MLive.com, because of the firefighting activity, some of the roads coming off M-123 have been closed.  Forest Road 3343, and a little further north, Forest Road 3145 have been temporarily closed.

And officials want to remind you that (because even the U.P. can't escape the technology of 2016) the use of drones is not permitted near the fire.

So, there goes that cool Facebook post you were planning.

Seriously, watch it this weekend - the fire danger is pretty high right now, everywhere in Michigan.
