Guy Kayaks Across Lake Michigan – His Kids? Not Impressed

Mike Stout kayaked from Twin Lake, Wisconsin to Ludington State Park last week. He figured it would take 12 hours to kayak the 50 miles. According to MLive.com, it actually took 15 hours and was a little scarier than he planned. He made it - but not until he almost tipped over, battled exhaustion and thought he might be lost in the middle of the night.

After telling his daughters what he'd accomplished, his younger daughter told him, "That was stupid."

He plans on trying it again.

This time, he wants to make it in the 12 hours he planned on originally.
