Forget Petoskey rocks - what you really need to be looking for in Michigan are Yooperlites - rocks found on the shores of Lake Superior that glow under a black light. Don't know where or how to find them? Good news - according to MLive.com, a guy named Erik Rintamak will take you right to them.

Erik first found what he calls Yooperlites (which geologists call soadlites), in June of 2017. He knows where to find them and he's got the UV flashlights you need to find them. His next tours will be at Muskallonge State Park (in the U.P., between Grand Marais and Whitefish Point) on Sept. 8 and Sept. 9. Good hunting! Send photos!
