Have You Seen This New Contraption in the Frandor Parking Lot?
I was recently making a stop in Frandor (I know, the parking lot is absolute bonkersville, but I survived another day...
However, when I was there, I noticed a new addition to the Frandor parking lot.
New Machine in the Frandor Parking Lot
In the section of the Frandor parking lot that's near Kroger, this is this new contraption taking up a few spaces.
It's this white, Mars rover-looking contraption with solar panels, lights, and a tall mast with some cameras situated at the top.

It wasn't doing anything but sitting there, but I was curious as to what it was and why it was there. So, I did a little digging in search of what this new addition to the Frandor parking lot might be.
Parking Lot Security
This contraption is a type of parking lot security.

Made by LVT (LiveView Technologies), this machine is a type of remote, mobile security camera. Machines like this have loudspeakers and high quality cameras with low light visibility that can also adjust angles, watch live feeds, and archive footage.

It seems like this has been added as a defense and crime deterrent measure, as the LVT websites boasts that after the LVT units are deployed, customers saw approximately a 70% reduction in parking lot incidents, a 62% reduction in violent crime, and a 69% reduction in grab and go theft.
Be safe out there.
