Former MSU Basketball Player Has Gone Hollywood
So how cool is this? You probably remember Spartan basketball player Delvon Roe from a few years back. And you might remember that his career on the court was cut short due to knee problems and many surgeries.
Well talk about turning lemons into lemonade. Delvon Roe my have had to stop playing college ball, but that certainly hasn't stopped him from making a jump to the pro's.
Well, on TV that is. TV is where anything can happen, right? And it is for Delvon.
According to the Lansing State Journal, Roe will be a part of the cast of the BET drama, "Games People Play", which will premiere Tuesday at 10 p.m. Tune in to find out how Delvon's character, Dante, will be a part of the story that centers around three women who are vying for the attention of an NBA superstar.
So, while Delvon Roe didn't quite make it to the NBA in real life, you could say he did just fine anyway.
Being on a TV show? Heck, I'd take that any day. Good luck Delvon.
