Michigan Pizza Chain Tests Wild Drone Delivery
A Michigan pizza company is changing the game when it comes to delivering pizza.
Little Caesars is taking Hot-N-Ready to the next level with its newest delivery method: drone pizza delivery.
How Much Food Can a Pizza Drone Carry?
Little Caesars is teaming up with Flytrex to start using drones to deliver pizza. And we're not talking about a single small pizza—these drones are capable of carrying about 8.8 pounds, which is enough food to feed the whole family. What does 8.8 pounds equal realistically? Well, that's two large pizzas, two sides, and drinks.
Plus, it’s fast—drones travel ‘as the crow flies.’ So, your order can be at your front door within four and a half minutes after it’s bagged and takes off from the restaurant
Where Drone Pizza Delivery Is Available Right Now
However, this new delivery system is only being rolled out to one market at the moment, and the worst part—it's not even in Michigan! It's in Wylie, Texas, of all places. That's cool and all, but don't forget about your home in the Mitten State.

To be fair... I would imagine a drone would have a hard time dealing with snow.
Maybe Little Caesars will extend this drone delivery to Michigan one day, but for now, there will be no need to keep an eye on the sky for flying pizza.
