East Lansing Stats Whiz Nate Silver Helps With Your NCAA Bracket

Nate Silver grew up in East Lansing, the son of an MSU professor. He liked numbers and math and the Detroit Tigers. After he graduated from the University of Chicago, he developed a system of predicting, through statistics, major league baseball players' performance. So he's a sports fan and number nerd. But, he also went on to work in the field of predicting political elections. He just re-launched his website fivethirtyeight.com. And now he will help YOU, fellow Spartans fan, win the office bracket pool.

Here's a link to the sports section of his website, where he will attempt to help you fill out your bracket. I saw him do a TV interview this week. He's one of the few NOT picking State to win the whole thing.

So, I'd just ignore that part.
