Detroit Auto Show Features Six Flying Vehicles Through September 25
The North American International Auto Show is officially taking place now through September 25 in the Detroit area.
This big auto show can be seen at Huntington Place and other locations, including different parks and the Detroit Riverfront.
So what's new at the 2022 Detroit Auto Show? How about the fact that this show will feature six flying vehicles. Does anyone remember the movie "Back to the Future"?
Now we're moving into the future with all kinds of possibilities, and here's more from mlive.com:
“George Jetson was born in 2022, if you follow the history,” Alberts said. “It seems kind of appropriate that we have flying mobility – most of it drone-powered – and having hoverboards and hoverbikes and showing what our kids and our grandkids someday will someday have (for) common mobility and travel.”
This is so amazing and I'm sure it's quite spectacular to see all of this new technology at the Detroit Auto Show through September 25.
Some of the flying vehicles you will see include a hoverboard, a hoverbike, and even a really cool electric machine that transports pods of cargo or passengers. That's incredible.
If you plan on going to the Detroit Auto Show, here are a few flight demonstrations taking place, courtesy of mlive.com:
AERWINS Technologies Xturismo hoverbike: 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15, Coleman A. Young International Airport
Gravity Industries jet suit. 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, all at the Riverwalk-Hart Plaza
I've been going to the North American International Auto Show for many years and I'm so looking forward to going back this time around.
It's the most amazing auto show you will ever see. So many beautiful vehicles to check out along with flying vehicles.
