Remember back in October of 2023 when we talked about this new chicken restaurant coming to town? Now it's opening.

Dave's Hot Chicken is Opening in East Lansing

To get everyone drooling for their arrival, Dave's posted this to Facebook;

If you enjoy spicy chicken tenders and sandwiches, set a reminder on your phone to grab lunch here on Friday, they open at 11 am. And you can find them at 194 Albert Avenue in East Lansing, which is right next to Foster Coffee Company.

And did you peep those hours? They're going to be open late night, until 11pm some nights and until 2 am others.

Is Dave's Hot Chicken Spicy?

East Lansing has plenty of places to go for chicken tenders.

There's Detroit Wing Co., there's Raising Cane's, and more. But what sets Dave's Hot Chicken apart from those places is the heat.

Yes, Dave's has some pretty spicy sauce. My husband, who typically orders "extra spicy" everything under the sun, usually sticks to a "medium" or "hot". Want even more heat? There's an "extra hot" and a "reaper". But don't worry, there's "lite mild" and "no spice" options as well.
