Crazy Summer Weather To Hit Lansing Area

According to the National Weather Service, we're going to see some stormy weather this week and then some VERY HOT temperatures later this week. Here's what you can expect:

• A few thunderstorms are possible this afternoon, however, nothing severe is expected during the afternoon hours.
• Tonight we'll see some more storms and the NWS says that locally heavy rainfall near and north of I-96 after midnight which could result in some flooding.
• The National Weather Service says that Friday through Sunday, a heat wave is expected to hit the Lansing area. High temperatures are expected to be in mid 90s and the heat index values could be between 95 and 105 degrees
