Construction To Close Part Of Mt. Hope In Grand Ledge

Motorists, you've been warned...

According to an MDOT bulletin released yesterday, the Mount Hope bridge over I-96 in Eaton County near Grand Ledge will be closed for repairs starting Tuesday, September 5th. The project is expected to be completed about two weeks after the closure, around Mid-September.

While the bridge is being repaired, it will be completely closed to all traffic. Don't worry though, there will be a detour posted. The detour "includes Nixon Road, St. Joseph Highway, and Canal Road. Click here for more details.
