For years, it was Roger Curtis' job to put butts in seats for the NASCAR races at Michigan International Speedway. He was a frequent (and one of our favorites) guest on the WITL morning show. Now, his job is much bigger. He's been tasked with helping put butts all over the state of Michigan. And keeping them there.

Roger has a new job with the state of Michigan. According to Lenconnect.com, on Nov. 16th, the governor named Roger director of the Michigan Department of Talent and Economic Development. That means (as I understand it) he'll be working with the folks at Pure Michigan to bring in tourists and also working to ensure that new companies come to Michigan and skilled people come to, or stay in, Michigan to help keep the workforce strong.

Roger starts his new job next Monday. His dream job of sheep farming will have to wait.
