Clinton County Project Helps Locals In Need Of School Supplies
Back-to-school time can be an expensive one, especially when the school supply list is a long one. Multiply that times how many of your little ones need supplies, and things can really add up. That's why next Wednesday is a really important date to keep in mind if you live in Clinton County and could use a hand.
According to the Lansing State Journal, Clinton County's Back To School/Project Connect is hosting an event "to help families alleviate basic needs for a new school year so that education can be their main focus." If you're an individual or a family that lives in Clinton County and you could use some help this school year, put this on the calendar: Wednesday, August 24th between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Smith Hall, 800 W. Sickles Street in St. Johns (the Clinton County Fairgrounds).
The event, it's services, and supplies are free! All thanks to volunteers and local vendors. And there is a wide range of items available; gently used clothes, haircuts, different food items, school supplies and more. Get more info about the event, including transportation arrangements, HERE.
