Coyotes are not that rare around here. I've seen (and heard) a bunch while deer hunting. I'm sure if you're out on a tractor everyday or driving back roads you see them all the time. They're not even that rare anymore in big cities. Chicago has a pretty good population - in fact they'll bite you on the butt if you're not watching. But now that the coronavirus has cleared a lot of big city streets, animals are getting pretty comfortable walking around downtown. And that includes coyotes. Case in point: San Francisco.

According to SFGate.com, as San Francisco experiences it's second week of sheltering in place due to COVID-19, coyotes are walking the empty streets and enjoying the city's parks and views of the Golden Gate Bridge. And because some people are still out from time to time with their cellphones, we have photos of the coyote takeover.
