Take a look up in the sky  tonight and check out the Christmas Comet, which is a real thing.

The comet's real name is Comet Wirtanen, but apparently prefers it's catchy social media handle: "Christmas Comet". And that's not because of the timing - it really is green! The best time to see it was probably last night, but you should be able to see it just fine tonight and for the rest of this week. According to MLive.com, the best way to see it tonight is to look for the Pleiades star cluster (here's a quick way to find that) then go down and to the right of that spot - and you should find the Christmas Comet, which is closer and brighter this time around than it was on it's last visit - or will be when it comes back in 2024.
