A New Michigan-Based Restaurant is Taking Over the Old YaYa’s Chicken in Lansing

We have some change coming to the Lansing foodie scene in the form of a (new to the area) Michigan-based chain. This new restaurant just so happens to be taking over an old restaurant location: YaYa's Flame Broiled Chicken.

YaYa's Chicken closed very suddenly in June of 2023. One weekend, there was just a sign taped to the door saying that you to all the loyal customers.
Now, that space will be used by a new restaurant called Big Moe's Kitchen.

Big Moe's Kitchen will be joining the Lansing restaurant scene, serving up what they're most well known for: Bam Bam Shrimp & Sizzle Rice Bowls.

Big Moe's got its start inside a gas station in Wayne, Michigan. Now, it has locations in Canton, Garden City, Grand Blanc, Dearborn, and Sterling Heights. Heck, it's even international with a location in Beirut, Lebanon!

In addition to the savory food at Big Moe's, there's something sweet to end your meal with thanks to ChocoLick. It looks like they serve up all kinds of sweet treats.
It's always a nice change of pace to learn of a restaurant that is opening as opposed to closing. When it's opening, there's no specific word just yet. Just, "Coming Soon".
