After 50 Years, Beloved Mason Big Boy Announces Closure
While Lansing has had an exceptional year as far as restaurant growth, that doesn't mean there haven't been some losses along the way. We've seen several restaurants close their doors permanently this year.
Lansing Area Restaurant Closures
Unfortunately, we have another closure taking place. This time, for Big Boy of Mason.
Big Boy has been serving the Mason community for over 50 years. Sadly, they've announced that they'll be closing before the end of the month.

In the announcement made to its Facebook page, the team at the Big Boy in Mason expressed their gratitude at being able to serve such an amazing community for so many years.
When Is Mason Big Boy Closing?
If you'd like to stop by for your last Mason Big Boy Slim Jim or Hot Fudge Cake, the final day of business is Thursday, June 25.
It's always a sad day when a beloved business has to close its doors. And it's very clear from the outpouring of love on social media that the Big Boy in Mason and its staff will be greatly missed.

While the Lansing area has seen unprecedented restaurant growth this year, it has also seen some loss. Big Boy isn't the only Lansing-area restaurant to close its doors. We've seen other restaurants close too; Beirut Kitchen in Lansing Shuffle, Dough Square in East Lansing, and New York Fried Chicken & Pizza in Lansing. Additionally, the historic Coral Gables in East Lansing is also closing this month.
