However, I think we all know that not all gas station food is made equal.
If you do need to stop at a gas station to grab a bite to eat, there's one in the Mitten State that seems to beat out the rest, as it's been named the 'best truck stop eats' in Michigan.
The Best Truck Stop Eats in Michigan
LoveFood says the best gas station grub in Michigan be found just outside of Grand Rapids at a place called 76th Street Truck Stop Diner.
The 76th Street Truckstop Diner is located in Byron Center, Michigan, and it serves up delicious food for hungry travelers at all hours of the day because it's open 24 hours. Not many places can say that nowadays.
They make everything, from omelets to loaded waffles to burgers and house-made chips.

They even won Grand Rapids' 'best diner' award in 2024, they're up for it again this year.
So next time you're on the road making your way through Michigan, maybe plan for a stop at the 76th Street Truck Stop Diner when you're feeling hungry.
