Best Places to Eat on Father’s Day in Northern Michigan

Father's Day is coming up on the same day that we celebrate the first day of summer, Sunday, June 20.

There are so many great places to take Dad when it comes to dining out.  I found this great article from mynorth.com that gives us several places to eat with Dad in Northern Michigan.

I've been to some of these incredible restaurant locations in Northern Michigan and I thought I would pick a few of my favorites from this well written article from mynorth.com:

1.  Apache Trout Grill.  One of my favorites on this list is the Apache Trout Grill.  It's located right on West Bay in Traverse City and it's a great place to take Dad for Father's Day.  They serve the best Parmesan crusted whitefish ever.  I should know, my wife and I have been there twice and that's exactly what we ordered.  The view over the bay and the food is perfect for Dad on his special day.

2.  Roast and Toast.  Your Dad will love this place.  Roast and Toast is in Petoskey and they serve up the best breakfast for Father's Day.  Delicious breakfast pastries too.  They are also well known for signature drinks.  You can't go wrong by taking Dad to Roast and Toast.

3.  Blue Tractor Cook Shop.  Another outstanding restaurant in beautiful Traverse City.  My wife and I head north to Traverse City at least once if not twice a year.  That's why we can highly recommend Blue Tractor for Father's Day as well.  They have just about everything on the menu that you could ask for.  Pulled pork, ribs, brisket, and fish, just to name a few.

4.  Bella Fortuna North.  This is a very popular place in Lake Leelanau and perfect for Dad on June 20.  If you love Italian food, then this is the place for you.  They have an excellent brunch buffet and their pizza is fantastic.
