According to the Lansing State Journal, Delta Township officials are meeting today to discuss changes to a zoning ordinance that could allow beekeeping in residential neighborhoods. The move comes after a couple was told last year that they couldn't keep their bee hives at their home in Delta Township.

Bees won't be the only thing the officials will be discussing in their meeting today, they'll also talk about the idea of chicken ownership in the township as well. The meeting starts at 6pm at the Delta Administration Building on Saginaw Highway.
