You knew this was going to happen.

Bath Township Police Department (and let me just congratulate whoever is running their social media) has waded into the "yanny vs laurel" controversy, which has taken over America and given us something other that politics to debate. (And - FYI - the guy who actually says "the word" in question, according to Time, is a former cast member of "Cats" on Broadway, named Jay Aubrey Jones. Here's his story.)

Bottom line - even in Bath Township, not everybody hears anything the same anymore.
