Banana Don’s Slice of Americana – A Different Look at “Duck Dynasty”

We all love the Robertsons from "Duck Dynasty". Here they are at Comerica Park this fall.

And, you'll be able to see them on the CMA Country Christmas Special next Monday Dec. 2nd.

But apparently it's been a little tougher ride, than many of us realized, for them to get to this point, where they are rich and famous and adored by millions. A short film from the "I am Second" website is getting a lot of attention these days. It's the Robertson's talking about some of the darker moments in their lives before they became famous. Frankly, to me, it's a little shocking that things got as bad as they did. I think this just shows that if you hang in there, and have a little faith, (literally) things can and do turn around.

I don't think you'll ever see something like this from the Khardasians.
