As we all know, the weather for 2017 has been a little crazy and here's more proof...

The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-1 tornado, with winds up to 90 mph, struck north of Freeport and southwest of Clarksville around 8:30pm Monday night. According to Mlive, the tornado was the size of two football fields--approximately 660 feet wide. Thankfully, no injuries were reported with this tornado. You can see pictures of the damage from the April tornado by clicking here.)

According to the National Weather Service, this the fifth tornado in Michigan so far this year. The four other tornadoes were part of a weird winter storm back on February 28th. Those tornadoes hit areas near Niles, Dowagiac, Vandalia, and Centreville (MY HOMETOWN!)
