Almost Half Of Us Think We’re Ready To Be On MasterChef
Are you one of those people who enjoys watching cooking shows? How do you feel about your cooking? Has it gotten better during the pandemic? If you think it has, you're not the only one.
According to Good News Network, "More than 40% of Americans think their cooking skills have improved so much during the pandemic that they could now compete on TV’s “MasterChef."
I'm not going to lie, my cooking skills have definitely improved, but I don't think I could ever compete on a cooking show. Not only do I like to take my time while cooking, but I'm also kind of a slob when I'm cooking. If I had to add a time frame for when my food had to be done, I'd be in the corner crying into my mixing bowl with flour all over the ceiling.
We've also learned around eight new recipes this year and most of us will cook a recipe six times before perfecting it. Before the pandemic, I was one of those people who cooked the same thing over and over again to avoid being disappointed if my new recipe was subpar. It's always a bummer when the new dish doesn't turn out the way you wanted it too.
Hey, if it doesn't turn out the way you wanted, that's alright. You can always take advantage of our Keep Calm & Carry Out deals!
