Admit it. The reason you love Michigan is – the cheap beer

Blue summer skies, great fishing and cheap beer. It's like we're living in a Luke Bryan song. And yet - shucks - it ain't nothin' but another day in Michigan.

The nice summers and world-class fishing have been a fact, forever, but now, we have proof that beer is cheaper in Michigan than ANY OTHER state in America. Now, it may not be your favorite beer, but - it's beer, by God, so let's just celebrate that fact, OK?

According to Metro Times Detroit, a study by Simple Thrifty Living discovered that a case of beer purchased at random Walmarts in Michigan was cheaper than one purchased in any other state. The most expensive? Pennsylvania and Tennessee. Don't tell Nashville. Luke won't leave us alone.
