A Michigan Company Is Recalling Hot Dogs
A Grand Rapids-based food manufacturer is recalling hot dogs and sausages because the packages were mislabeled. According to the USDA, Kent Quality Food Incorporated is recalling over 300,000 pounds of ready-to-eat hot dog and sausage products due to mislabeled and an undeclared allergen. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of the mislabeled hot dogs and sausages.
The ready-to-eat hot dog and sausage items were produced on various dates from September 9, 2017 through April 29, 2018 and have the establishment number “EST. 5694” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
