A Beloved Lansing BBQ Joint Has Reopened After Over One Year
Lately, we've heard about so many different restaurants and businesses.
Lansing Business Closures
Most recently, we learned about the closure of the retail store at Merindorf Meat Market in Williamston, as well as the imminent closure of The Grid Arcade & Bar in Old Town Lansing.
So amid all this sadness, it's so nice to hear about a Lansing business that is reopening.
Lansing BBQ Joint Reopens
It's been closed for over a year, but it has finally reopened...
...Gump's BBQ!
Sadly, back in mid-September of 2022, one of Gump's building neighbors experienced a huge fire that was so bad that Gump's had to close. And they've been closed since.
Gump's BBQ is Open
However, as of September 30th, 2023, there's no longer radio silence from Gump's. They announced via their Facebook page.
Patrons are so excited for Gump's to be open again. As a patron myself, I cannot wait to get my hands on one of those delicious breakfast burritos. But here's what others had to say;
Faun Donald said, "Yasss!!!"
Traci Jakovac Shepard said, "Woohoo!! Happy to see you are back open!"
Dan Hoffmeyer said, "Best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had, soooo good".
For the time being, Gump's is open with a smaller menu than you might be used to, but they've still got the cult classics like the breakfast burrito and the biscuits & gravy. Just take a look at the delicious breakfast burrito in the picture below. And taste it for yourself at Gump's, Tuesday through Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm.
