3 Family-Friendly Events Happening Saturday In The Lansing Area
If you're looking for some fun things to do as a family this weekend, you've got several choices. And dare I say...some of those events--if not all of them--could be quite educational as well!! (You can thank me later...)

To start your fun-filled Saturday, have the family gather up any recyclables that you may have in the house and head to Recycle-Rama 2019 at the Ingham County Health Department on Cedar Street. The event is free and open to the public. It starts at 9am and runs until 2pm. Click here to see what you can and can't bring to the event.

Once you've taught the kids about recycling, you can head over to Small Animals Day at Michigan State University. That event runs from 9am until 1pm at the MSU Pavillion. It's your chance to do all sorts of fun things like milk a cow, watch some horse races, hold a baby chick and more. Click here to find out more.

After you've finished your recycling and you've gone and milked a cow, it's time to relax a little. Saturday night is the Lansing Ignite's Inaugural Match at Cooley Law School Stadium.
