2021 Taco & Tequila Festival at Jackson Field
Did someone say tacos and tequila? Count me in.
The Taco & Tequila Festival is coming to Jackson Field on Saturday, July 24. The festival was originally set in Kalamazoo and was moved to Grand Rapids and rescheduled twice last year because of the pandemic.
Nick Stoglin, the Director of Special Events with the Kalamazoo Growlers and Outlier Events, told MLive that they're excited to finally have a date set for the festival.
We are excited to have everyone together to celebrate safely and get the opportunity to show off some tacos from different local vendors. I can’t think of a better way to be back hosting festivals in Michigan after a long year away from friends and family.
Festival details
Several local vendors will be serving up tacos all day long. What's a taco without a little tequila or beer? Beer, cocktails and over 25 brands of tequila will be available to sample. The festival will also include live entertainment and games.
Because this is a socially distanced event, entry times will be different for festival goers in order to avoid crowds.
Ticket information
Those with VIP tickets will have first admission. Tickets are $50 and include access to exclusive and rare tequilas, taco and tequila sampling tickets. General admission tickets are $35 and includes taco and tequila sampling tickets.
They also have designated driver tickets available for those looking to skip the tequila portion. The event does sell out quickly, if you're interested in attending, tickets go on sale May 19. You can purchase your ticket at the Taco & Tequila Festival's website.
