As detailed last week by this reporter, for some time now (the past month), the University of Michigan North Campus in Ann Arbor has been terrorized by a wild turkey. This tom turkey had been stopping traffic by laying down in the campus streets and bullying it's way onto buses.

Today, I bring you good news: the turkey has been captured. The nightmare is over.

Huzzah!

According to MLive.com, the turkey was captured, alive, yesterday (Aug. 2nd) and relocated to an unnamed facility south of here. My guess? Gitmo. Guantanamo Bay. No word on what branch of U.S. Special Forces was involved in the take down.
