Be aware - you enter the University of Michigan's North Campus at your own risk.

According to MLive.com, a male wild turkey has been roaming the campus, chasing people and attempting to board campus buses.

University of Michigan Police Department deputy chief Melissa Overton reports, "He's also created a traffic hazard because apparently he likes to lay down in the middle of the road and not move. It can be very difficult for the buses to get around him."

And the great thing about that quote - it could have been said about any number of U of M freshmen during their first weekend on campus. So, keep that one handy, Deputy Chief Overton.

Here's the whole story. We appreciate the brave souls who captured the close up shots of the perp for this story.
