Michigan state health officials are hoping local kids are up to date on their vaccines after chickenpox outbreaks have been identified in several Michigan counties, including Calhoun County, the home of Battle Creek, Marshall and Albion.

According to woodtv.com, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says the outbreaks mainly involved unvaccinated children in school settings. In fact, several of those kids ended up being hospitalized.

But, I'm sure EVERYBODY you know has been vaccinated. Right?
