Michigan Veterans Get Special Designation

ThinkStock

It’s about time! Michigan is letting its 680,000 military veterans get a special designation on their driver’s licenses. The designation will allow veterans to take advantage of discounts at stores and hotels more easily without having to carry their discharge papers. It seems like a step in the right direction but I would hope that we could be doing a lot more to help our veterans in Michigan. Here’s more on the story from WLNS.
