Lansing Area Memorial Day Parades And Events
There are a lot of events planned throughout the Lansing area for the Memorial Day weekend. According to the Lansing State Journal, some of those events get underway as soon as this afternoon as a wreath-laying ceremony will be held at 3pm in front of the East Lansing Hannah Community Center. Many memorial services are being held throughout Mid-Michigan over the weekend, including a Civil War Memorial Day service that will be held at 10:30am Saturday morning at the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
And, of course there will be plenty of Memorial Day parades. Some of the communities that will be hosting parades this year include Mason, Grand Ledge, Elsie, Williamston and Delhi Township. Click here to see the full list of Memorial Day parades and events compiled by the Lansing State Journal.
