What’s Happening With Good Truckin’ Diner in Lansing?
A lot of changes are happening with Lansing's Good Truckin' Diner. Here's an update about what's been going on.
Back in December 2024, Good Truckin' Diner announced that it would be saying goodbye to its old location in its current form, and moving to a new one. However, they weren't just getting rid of the REO Town location, something new was going to come of it.
Lansing's Good Truckin' Diner is Moving
Good Truckin' Diner (GTD) will be taking over The Creole's former spot in Old Town. The Creole sadly closed its doors on September 29th, 2024.
When Good Truckin' Diner first announced the move, they said they'd be up and running in the new Old Town location "in the VERY near future". Well, the future is now, because we have word on when we can expect them to open!

In a post made to its Facebook page on February 19th, GTD says they are "hoping to open in the next couple weeks".
So, sometime in mid-March, hopefully.

So, what's happening with the former REO Town location, you ask?
It's staying the in the GTD family, and they're going to be turning it into a bakery and sweets shop!
No word on when the bakery will be up and running just yet. But, as soon as GTD can move into the Old Town location, they can begin work on turning the REO Town location into the bakery they need.
They've been super busy working on the Old Town location, here's a little sneak peek inside:
We'll keep you updated on when they announce the Grand Opening!
