Michigan is a great place to live. Anytime of year you can be outdoors doing something fun. In the spring it's nice to see the life come back to our scenery. The summertime is hard to beat with so many things to do on the water, the trails and in our towns. Fall is beautiful, color change is something I look forward to every year. Here comes old man winter, with plenty to do on the slopes, ice fishing and festivals.

I have never understood why folks that grew up in Michigan, like me, complain about the winters. It should be no surprise that winters can be brutal. Sometimes they can last longer then we expect, that's Michigan for you.

Weather patterns and temperatures can vary big time in Michigan. What happens in the upper penninsula is far different then what happens in mid Michigan and southwest Michigan. I love going to the U.P. during the spring and summer. I haven't been there during the winter, it's my understanding that winters are hard but the roads are good to drive on because they have better equipment to handle the snow. Maybe the "trolls" could get some awesome equipment to clear the snow in the lower penninsula.

Listed below are the average hi and lo temperatures for cities in Michigan. Current Results did a study from 1991 to 2020 and their findings are listed below.
