Wait, Why Was Josh Peck From Drake & Josh In The UP?
It's pretty rare to be strolling down the street and run into a familiar face. But, it's probably even rarer when it's the face of someone you grew up seeing on your TV screen.
But Marquette, Michigan had a special guest earlier this week walking their streets, and even considering moving in to the neighborhood: Josh Peck.
Who is Josh Peck?
Josh Peck is an actor who got his career started at a young age in the Peck began his career as a child actor in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with a role on The Amanda Show. Later, he went on to co-star in the very popular Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh.
He later had roles in the remake of Turner & Hooch, and more recently is starring in the Hulu spinoff show, How I Met Your Father.
Why was Josh Peck in Marquette, Michigan?
Josh Peck first teased us that he was spending a day or two in the UP with a post from a very infamous game store in downtown Marquette.
Then later in a video that was posted to his snapchat, then later picked up by the popular instagram account YooperLad, Josh shared that he is in town to do a speaking engagement at Northern Michigan University.
(To which he says "They're sensitive when you don't say it right" and then, says it wrong.) In the video, you see Josh strolling down Lakeshore Boulevard in Marquette.
But hey, maybe he'll stick around past his speaking engagement at NMU. He says, "When I go places like this, I get on Zillow and I think: 'yeah, forever. I can do this'.
Okay Josh, we'll hold you to that. Wed'd be happy to find a place for you if you're serious about it, even after seeing the snow.
