Get ready for a spectacular view of "Pure Michigan"!

According to MLive, a brand new canopy walk is going to open up just in time for the best views of Michigan's fall colors. The $20,000,000 project is expected to open for all on Sunday, October 7th. The new canopy walk will be "the longest of its kind of the nation" and is located in Midland's Whiting Forest. It's sits about 40 feet high and stretches a massive 1,400 feet.

October 7th is right before Michigan's peak fall colors will hit, so if you plan on taking a road trip to see the leaves change, you'll want to make sure that The Whiting Forest canopy walk is a stop on the trip. Get more info on the new project here and in the video below.
