Have you been wondering if it's too early to put up your Christmas decorations? Normally, I'd say wait until Mid-November. But, this year, I feel differently.

If you already tore down your fall decorations and threw up your Christmas stuff, congratulations, you're ahead of the game! Which in my opinion, is a smart idea because we had beautiful weather this past weekend. And let's be honest, who really wants to string Christmas lights when it's chilly out? Not me.

If you say you don't like Christmas decorations, I'm sorry, but you're lying. How do you not love driving around town and looking at everyones decorations while drinking hot chocolate? Is there no joy in your soul?

Decorating is one way to get us excited about the holidays and gives us something to look forward to. Yes, tensions are running high this year because of everything going on in the world and some of us are tight on funds. But, the holidays are about cherishing the time you have with the people you love. With social distancing, some of us aren't able to do that but luckily technology has come a long way. Your friends and families faces are only a click away thanks to Zoom and FaceTime.

I'm going to be honest, I have yet to put mine up. I usually do it very last minute. But, that's because I have cats and they think the tree is their playground. They bat my bulbs around and turn the garland into their own personal scarves.
