U.S. Olympic skating team full of Michiganders
Remember Charlie White and Meryl Davis? The two Michiganders won the first Olympic gold medal for the U.S. in ice dancing, during the 2014 Winter Olympics. According to MLive.com, there's a good chance another team with Michigan connections will repeat the feat, next month at the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang. And not only could the winners be from Michigan, but it might be Okemos' own Madison Hubbell, who, along with partner Zachary Donohue, became U.S. National Champions on Sunday and just happen to skate out of the Lansing Skating Club.
In fact, the top three teams on Sunday all have Michigan ties.
