Tyler Farr swears that this time, things will be different. When he boards Brantley Gilbert's Kick It in the Ship cruise next month in Miami, his wife will be by his side to make sure things are different.

"I'm older now," Farr tells Taste of Country, attempting to assure us he left his reputation on the last cruise. You see, there was the Blake Shelton cruise one year ...

"That was a little out of hand," Farr admits, chuckling. “And I did the FGL cruise, and that was a little out of hand."

Video evidence emerged from a tropical getaway that involved Jerrod Niemann, an early morning and Farr trying to play ninja. But Farr promises he won't end up on a gossip website this time. “You ain’t gonna see me on TMZ," he insists. "I’ll find where those folks live and I will aim headlights into their windows.”

Aside from Gilbert, Farr's longtime friend Colt Ford, plus Chase Rice, Lanco and Diamond Rio are among the Kick It in the Ship performers. The "Redneck Crazy" singer says he enjoys spending time with fans in this setting and is excited to bounce new songs off his audience. With wife Hannah by his side — and two friends in Gilbert and Ford, whose partying days are also behind them — his gesture to keep it quiet may be sincere. Leave it to the rest of the passengers and performers to raise a ruckus. Jon Langston, Tyler Rich, Brian Davis and Danielle Bradbery are also performing.

“The best thing I can say to her is to put on some floaties and hang on for dear life,” Farr says.

The second-annual Kick It In the Ship Cruise heads from Miami to Cozumel, Nov. 4-8.
