TSA Keeps Finding Loaded Guns In Carry-On Bags
According to a report in the Lansing State Journal, it appears that many people are 'packing heat' in their carry-on bag when they head to the aiport. The TSA says a record 2,212 firearms were found in carry-on bags in the United States in 2014. If that weren't scary enough, they also say that more than 80% of the guns they found were loaded.
Officials say the biggest excuse that is usually given when a gun is found is that they 'forgot' that the gun was in their bag. Unfortunately, 'forgetting' that their loaded gun was in their bag will cost them thousands of dollars in federal fines.
