What You Need to Know Before You Visit Bronner’s in Frankenmuth
Tis the season for getting into the holiday and Christmas spirit. And there's quite literally no place on earth in the Christmas spirit as much as Bronner's Christmas Wonderland in Frankenmuth, Michigan.
Bronner's Christmas Wonderland, founded in 1945, literally holds the world record for "The World's Largest Christmas Store", making it hard to beat when it comes to Christmas spirit anytime of year.
What You Need to Know Before You Visit Bronner's in Frankenmuth
If you're planning on making the trip to Bronner's anytime from now through the New Year, some of their busiest time of the year, there are a few things you will definitely want to make note of.
Dress Appropriately
It might be cold outside, but I promise you, they keep it toasty inside. Not to mention, there are so many people and so many lights on that things can get pretty hot. I typically run cold and I was wearing a sweatshirt, and I regretted not having a t-shirt and jacket on so I could cool off.
Wear the Right Shoes
Dressing correctly in this situation also calls for comfortable footwear. It's the world's largest Christmas store, so you're going to be doing a lot of walking and standing.
Don't Forget Your Stroller or Wagon
We didn't pack our stroller because we figured we would just use the cart to put our toddler in. Well, we were wrong. The carts available are basically just a double-decker basket holder. You can rent a stroller while you're there, but it's $2, cash only. And guess who didn't have any cash and had to take turns carrying their toddler the entire time?
Use the Map
Whether this is your first time, or you've experienced the labyrinth that Bronner's is before, you will want to grab a map. That way you can plot out a course.
Be Ready For LOTS of People
We went on Sunday, and Bronner's opens at 12 on Sundays. We pulled in to park at 12:17pm, and the parking lot was already so full, we had to park pretty far away. So keep in mind, they are super busy.
Here's a look at what you're in for at Bronner's.
