Tuesday will be a big night for the Michigan State Spartans men's basketball team as they start the regular season. It's Tom Izzo's 25th year as head coach, Cassius Winston is the national pre-season player of the year and they're ranked No. 1 to start the season. In typical Tom Izzo fashion, they start the season playing No. 2 Kentucky in the Champions Classic, in New York (9:30 on ESPN).

It doesn't get much more "Sparty" than Tuesday night.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the Spartans will start with a couple injury problems. Joshua Langford is out indefinitely with his foot injury and Kyle Ahrens has an ankle injury leaving him questionable for the opener. But, sophomore Thomas Kithier broke his nose in practice on Wednesday - and he'll still play on Tuesday. I hope they give him a cool mask to wear. Can you decorate those things?

Not gonna lie. Pretty geeked.
