Three Pumpkin Patches That Are Less Than Two Hours from Lansing
It's the best time of the year! Well, for me at least. I come alive in the fall time. There's nothing like fall in Michigan. When I was living in Florida last fall, they didn't have much to do except visit peanut patches. Yeah, you read that right, peanut patches. So being back in Michigan, I'm thriving!
Whether it's pumpkin spice lattes, football kicking off, or dressing up for Halloween, there's something for everyone. But one of the best things about fall is apple orchards, corn mazes and, of course, pumpkin patches! Check out these great spots within two hours of Lansing.
Blake's Orchard and Cider Mill
Having to lug your pumpkin back to your car is a struggle, but Blake Farms in Armada offers a hayride to and from the pumpkin patch. They have tons of fun stuff to do for everyone! They have a petting farm where you can hand feed animals and a children's play area. Looking for a fun date day? Check out their hard cider while you're there! They have everything from ciders to stouts. Don't forget to grab a pack of their delicious donuts or a caramel apple before you head out.
Johnson's Giant Pumpkin Patch
Johnson’s Giant Pumpkin Patch in Saginaw has the perfect pumpkins to carve because they're HUGE. Go there, buy one and we'll have a pumpkin carving contest because I take pumpkin carving seriously. And what's a pumpkin patch without a corn maze? They have a 13-acre corn maze you can check out and so much more!
Corn Fun Corn Maze Adventure & Pumpkin Patch
