Thousands Still Without Power In Mid-Michigan
Many residents are still without power this morning following the strong winds that hit the region on Wednesday. According to the Lansing Board Of Water & Light, over 12,000 of their customers were without power around 11pm on Wednesday night and over 200 wires were down. This morning, BWL is reporting that over 7,000 customers are still without power. Click here to see the latest outage map for BWL.
Consumers Energy is also working hard to restore electricity to their customers. They say that more than 260,000 of their customers were affected by downed trees and power lines due to high winds and add that restoration efforts are expected to continue into the weekend.
