If you've been thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, this Saturday is the perfect opportunity to do so!

This Saturday, the Detroit Free Press reports that the BISSELL Pet Foundation is bringing back Empty the Shelters. During Empty the Shelter day, free adoption will be available at dozens of shelters and rescue centers across Michigan. Pet adoption fees are usually around $150 for dogs and $60 for cats, but BISSELL will be covering all adoption fees to say thanks to families who choose adoption. In addition to covering the adoption fee, BISSELL is also gifting those who adopt with an AdoptBox; and box filled with toys, treats, and ID tag, and more!
