This is why NASCAR isn’t based in Michigan
It snowed in North Carolina yesterday. This caused a problem on the roads - even for some of the best race car drivers in the world. I understand, North Carolina isn't prepared to deal with snowy roads like, say, Michigan. But c'mon, Daniel Suarez (who got stuck in the snow). And DALE JUNIOR?!
According to altdriver.com, somebody with a pickup finally pulled Daniel and his Lexus out of the snow, but not before he took a lot of heat on Twitter.
According to Yahoo, Dale Earnhardt, Jr helped pull somebody's car out of a ditch and then he "center punched a pine tree" with his vehicle. NBC also announced yesterday that Junior will be on hand to help with reporting at the Super Bowl, next month. In Minneapolis. Uh,oh. Keep an eye out for that rental car.
Some of the other drivers pulled out their off-road vehicles and owned it like a champ.
